Disneyland Paris Pins for December 2011 – More Star Wars Pins
Unlike this month when the pins weren’t released until the 6th, the Disneyland Paris December 2011 pins have been announced already, and here they are: There aren’t many pins being released this month, just 4, and 3 of those are Star Wars pins that are out this Saturday, December 3rd. Few though they are in quantity, all of the Star Wars pins are great. I especially like Pete as Boba Fett, as we very rarely see Pete featured on a pin. Donald always looks great As Darth Maul and Goofy as…

Disneyland Paris Pins for October 2011 – Christmas Already!
It doesn’t seem like a whole month ago since we were talking about the September pins, but here we are with another set for October. Wow, Christmas pins already? I guess if there have been Christmas chocolates in the shops for a month then we can have Christmas pins in Disneyland Paris too. I really like the Pinocchio set, though I’m not sure why Chip and Dale are there too, surely Geppetto or the Blue Fairy would have been a better choice for the 4th pin and then let Chip and Dale…

The Big Box of Disneyland Paris Memorabilia Part 1 – The Big Pin and Wallet
About 5 years ago I put a big box full of Disneyland Paris memorabilia in the loft and last night, for the first time since I stashed it, I brought it down to take a look. To say there was lots of things inside that I’d forgotten we ever bought would be an understatement. Aside from around 100 maps it was filled with CDs (and a cassette – remember those?), books, pins, cocktail stirrers, pens, photo frames, lenticulars, watches and much more including a gun and a key card! One of…

Disneyland Paris Pins for September 2011
Thanks to a busy summer I completely missed the August 2011 pins! If anyone saved the information graphic then please send it my way, thanks. Without further ado, here are the September 2011 pins. As a huge Star Wars fans I’m immediately drawn to the Star Wars lanyard and pins, which are obviously to tie in with the September release of the Star Wars films on Blu-ray. I like that the lanyard set pins are classic trilogy characters as the focus these days seems to be a little too much on…

Disneyland Paris Pins for July 2011
Fresh off the press is the new Disneyland Paris pin releases for July 2011: Not much for my tastes there, cupcakes aren’t really my thing. Perhaps someone can explain the relevance of them – have Disney Cupcakes become the in thing lately? I quite like the Barbossa pin but only for the ship in a bottle dangling from the main part of the pin, though I’d have preferred that to have shown a photo of Jack and Gibbs, as that was a more memorable scene from the film involving a ship…

Disneyland Paris Pins for June 2011
I understand the Cars 2 pins timing with the film release but it would have been nice to see the new characters featured as well as the likes of Lightning McQueen and Luigi who have had countless pin releases. I have to say that the whole month’s releases are a bit uninspiring. The best one, for me, is the Cars 2 poster style pin which does includes at least one new character, along with the old favourites. Maybe when the film has been in the cinema for a few weeks/months we’ll see individual pins for…
