Disneyland Paris Photo of the Day: 17th November 2011 – Christmas Tree

When I walked into Disneyland Park a week ago, one of the first things that caught my eye was the amazing Christmas Tree in Town Square. It’s one of the most perfectly shaped Christmas Trees I have ever seen, and very nicely decorated too. If you look closely you can actually see the reflection of myself taking the photo in some of the baubles. I took quite a few photos of the tree but I like the perception of size that the steep angle this photo was taken at gives. Being…

Interesting that although Dancin’ (A Catchy Rhythm) hasn’t been used in the parks since early 2007 it’s still been voted in as the number 4, equal, piece of Disneyland Paris music. All…

Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Artwork, Logos and Events

In the last few days a lot of the new 20th Anniversary artwork has been doing the rounds. This is no doubt since the new brochure was released and you can actually see it on the official Disneyland Paris website here, though you will need Flash, so you’ll have no luck on your iPad. We know there are 2 big additions coming in 2012, those being Dreams the night time laser and fountain show, and Disney Magic on Parade, which is the new parade. Let’s get started with the front cover…

Disneyland Paris Photo of the Day: 12th November 2011 – RC Racer

Even though I was in Disneyland Paris last September, yesterday was the first time I’ve had a proper look around Toy Story Playland. I’ve been critical in the past as I have previously thought it wasn’t an area that really lived up to the standard that Disneyland Paris has been providing for almost 20 years. However, on seeing Toy Story Playland up close I have to say that the theming is absolutely fantastic and is a great use of the Pixar characters and settings that the new generation of Disney fans…

Disneyland Paris Pins for November 2011 – Star Wars & 2012

I’ve been checking every day and finally the Disneyland Paris pins for November 2011 are out, and here they are: The pin releases have been getting better and better as the year has progressed, and now with November 2011 I can finally say that I like every single one of them. As a huge Stars Wars fans I really like those 3 pins, especially the Stitch General Grievous pin. Stitch does lend himself very well to Grievous, what with his extra limbs. I also really like the 2012 pins, which are…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Overall Best Land/Area

WINNER Fantasyland (50%) 2nd Adventureland (22%) 3rd Main St USA (17%) 4th Frontierland (13%) 5th Discoveryland (9%) 6th Toy Story Playland (4%) The results here go to prove two things: 1) When I left out the word area when asking for votes for best Disneyland Park land, I did Main ST USA a dis-service as in that vote it didn’t even get a mention, where as here it beat out both Frontierland and Discoveryland. 2) Even though Toy Story Playland was voted the top land/area in Walt Disney Studios, people see…
