How do attraction closures at Disneyland Paris affect your holiday plans?
I was thinking about something the other day when reading that It’s A Small World is closed from 7th to 18th November. My little boy is obsessed with It’s A Small World and has been singing the song daily since we last visited in September 2010. The thought of being in Disneyland Paris and having to tell him that It’s A Small World is closed mortifies me, and I’d hate to see the look on his face when confronted with that news. For me personally I can’t imagine a trip to…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Land/Area in Walt Disney Studios
2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris AwardsWINNER Toy Story Playland (50%) 2nd Toon Studio (27%) 3rd Backlot (14%) 4th Disney Studio 1 (9%) Sorry, but I don’t agree. There’s no doubt that Toy Story Playland is a dynamic addition to Walt Disney Studios, but best land/area in Walt Disney Studios? Surely not. I’ve no doubt the rides are fun, for some, but visually it doesn’t hold a candle to the amazing Studio 1 which is an area that I believe is very under-utilised, especially in the evenings. When they have the bands…

Is Disney’s PhotoPass coming to Disneyland Paris?
Over the last few weeks on Disneyland Paris forums we have all been speculating about Disney’s PhotoPass coming to Disneyland Paris. Thanks to an anonymous source who dropped something in my inbox I think it could be a reality. Apologies for the small size of the graphic but it’s all I have right now. This is an official piece of Disneyland Paris produced artwork and to my mind it’s been made to promote Disney’s PhotoPass. For those of you that don’t know, Disney’s PhotoPass allows guests to have photos taken all…

The bear we, well you, have all been waiting for – the one and only Duffy the Disney Bear, has arrived in Disneyland Paris! Photos are from he ever brilliant @InsideDLParis who you should all follow on Twitter for daily photo updates from inside the parks. These are the paw prints leading into the Storybook Store which is the official home for Duffy merchandise in Disneyland Paris. Speaking of the merchandise, here we go… I was hoping for more Disney related costumes rather than just the kind of clothes you can…

Disneyland Paris Photo of the Day: 12th October 2011 – Belle’s Village & Christmas Campaign
If I told you that this photo came from anyone other than @InsideDLParis, would you even believe me? Not wanting to break with tradition, this photo from earlier today was indeed taken by @InsideDLParis, who has agreed to do an interview for this very blog, when I get round to sending the questions that is. I remember back in November 2002 we bought a small Tigger snow globe from one of the huts in Belle’s Village and I’m pretty sure that one year there was a little machine that played a…

Disneyland Paris Photos of the Day: 7th October 2011 – Halloween Parties & Pumpkins
The Halloween season is in full swing over in Disneyland Paris and thanks to @InsideDLParis we have some fantactic photos from the park. This first one shows some banners on the Castle advertising Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, of which the first one is tonight. Now I understand they are primarily there to remind people of the party and to encourage ticket sales, but even so, they actually look very nice and are at least in the style that you expect to see hanging off of a castle. The second…
