Disneyland Paris Magical Memorabilia: Very Early Euro Disneyland Resort Guide

Thanks to my friend Christian Sylt, I have a very early resort guide for Disneyland Paris, or Euro Disneyland as it was called then. It’s quite fascinating to look through and see how things have changed. Just look at that map! I guess it does it’s job, but there isn’t much detail, though at the same time I find it utterly charming. I also like the land icons that have long since changed, and also Festival Disney now being Disney Village. If you look at the Discoveryland attractions page, you’ll see…

Disneyland Paris Photo Friday: Swing into Spring…and more!

Just a couple of week’s ago my podcast co-host Mark visited Disneyland Paris and took a lot of photos, to say the least! We will be adding galleries of Swing into Spring celebrations to the website, but until then, here are just a handful of the choice shots he captured. You can hear all about Mark’s trip to Disneyland Paris on episode 36 of the podcast – that’s the episode with a special competition at the end!

Disneyland Paris News: Carl and Russell From UP Invade Adventureland

Big news in Disneyland Paris yesterday, and thanks to our friend @InsideDLParis we have photos of these new additions to Adventureland. Namely Carl Fredricksen and Russell from the film UP, who can be seen near Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost. On the one hand, there’s the question of why they feel the need to add characters to such a nice area in Adventureland. Surely there are enough characters all over the resort that we don’t need to spoil such a beautiful area of natural beauty with man made models of characters from…

Hipark Serris-Val d’Europe (Near Disneyland Paris) – Studio Review

Last November I visited Disneyland Paris for the launch of the 2013 Christmas Season, and on the Friday night I stayed for the first time in a studio at Hipark Serris-Val d’Europe. I had seen quite a few people speak favourably of these apartments so wanted to give it a go – plus at £52 it was only £2 more expensive than Séjours & Affaires. I got off the train at Disneyland Paris, and then got another train to Val d’Europe. The walk to Hipark was about 20-25 minutes, which was…

Disneyland Paris Photos: St Patrick’s Day 2014

I know what you’re thinking, St Patrick’s Day was last month, why are you talking about now? Well as it happens I have been pretty bust over the last couple of months, and in that time photographer extraordinaire Bert Snyers visited Disneyland Paris, and sent me some wonderful photos of St Patrick’s Day. So here I am with a spare lunch hour and these great photos, which it is never too late to share – so enjoy, and as an added bonus there are even some great shots of of the…

How many times have you been in total? So far 8 times with trips 9, 10 and 11 imminent! We will have stayed at all the onsite hotels as of May and I’m so…
