Disneyland Paris Photo of the Day: 6th October 2011 – Goodbye Steve Jobs
I woke up today to the awful news that Steve Jobs has passed away. A visionary like no other and one of the most amazing people of my or any generation. To technology fans he is the man behind such revolutionary products like the iPhone and iPod, to Disney fans he’s the man behind Pixar. I thought it only fitting today to post a photo of one of the many Pixar inclusions in Disneyland Paris.
This photo of the huge Buzz Lightyear which stands in front of the relatively new Toy Story Playland containing 3 Pixar rides; RC Racer, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop and Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin. These are located near Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and Crush’s Coaster. Also in Walt Disney Studios is the Stitch Live show and the Monsters, Inc. Scream Monitors – at least I think they are still there, they may have been removed – can anyone confirm or deny? In Discoveryland is Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Pizza Planet, while the Santa Fe Hotel has had a Cars overhaul. Pixar can be seen all over Disneyland Paris, and Steve Jobs was one of the men integral to it’s worldwide success.
Goodbye Steve, you were one of a kind and we’ll miss you and your vision immensely.
