Disneyland Paris Photos of the Day: 7th October 2011 – Halloween Parties & Pumpkins

The Halloween season is in full swing over in Disneyland Paris and thanks to @InsideDLParis we have some fantactic photos from the park. This first one shows some banners on the Castle advertising Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, of which the first one is tonight. Now I understand they are primarily there to remind people of the party and to encourage ticket sales, but even so, they actually look very nice and are at least in the style that you expect to see hanging off of a castle. The second…

Disneyland Paris Halloween 2011 artwork from the Shareholders Club

Incredible timing as I was only talking about the Disneyland Paris Shareholder’s Club here, but I have just received the newsletter which has a nice piece of imagery for the Halloween 2011 season. Apologies that it’s not bigger but my request for PR materials from Disneyland Paris themselves has fallen on deaf (mickey) ears. One of the things that Disneyland Paris can never be criticised for is the artwork they design to promote for the seasons, which as always is absolutely top notch. Mickey Mouse is front and centre which is…

More Disney Pumpkins and I’m liking the new Disneyland Paris Halloween more

After being so undecided about the new Halloween in Disneyland Paris in my previous post I’m liking the changes more, and why the sudden change of heart? All because of the latest photo posted by the awesome @InsideDLParis which you can see below. I’d said previously that if it was just Mickey pumpkin heads that I didn’t think that would be enough. Well, as you can see in this photo he has some pumpkin friends. Sitting outside The Disney Store in Disney Village are what looks to be pumpkin Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Chip & Dale…

Halloween in Disneyland Paris – Pumpkin Mickey replaces Pumpkinmen & Halloweenland

We’ve been speculating for weeks as to what will be happening in Disneyland Paris since the news that the Pumpkinmen were no more, nor would Frontierland be turning into Halloweenland like it usually does. My first reaction when I heard about these changes was one of disappointment, and I’m not even going during the Halloween season this year. However, I have been in years gone by and I absolutely loved the old Halloween theming, so I was disappointed that people visiting this year wouldn’t get to experience it, as well as myself not having…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Season

Best Season WINNER Christmas (42%) 2nd Halloween (38%) 3rd= Summer (8%) 3rd= Spring (8%) 5th Autumn (4%) I have been at Christmas, twice, and in fact the photo above was taken when we stayed at Disneyland Paris from Christmas Day until Boxing Day. However, for me Christmas is only the 3rd best season behind Halloween and Summer. It’s just too cold to be any higher than that. So, which comes first, for me at least? While Halloween has the best decorations and added extras like Pumkinhead Men, Summer has to take…
