Disneyland Paris Pins for January 2013 – Sith, Jedi, Princesses & Pumpkins

Is it really 2013 already? The answer to that is yes, and with the new year comes a whole set of new pin releases in Disneyland Paris. We start off on January 5th with a couple of rather generic looking Yoda and Darth Vader pins, which has me wondering if these were always planned or whether the recent acquisition of LucasFilm by Disney has something to do with these pins being brought out. If I can skip ahead to the following week’s releases, we also have a Star Tours pin. This…

Disneyland Paris Pins for December 2012 – The Train Is Complete & The Force is Strong

It’s rather strange seeing December pins but nothing to do with Christmas, but in true 21st century style, that was covered in the October and November pin releases. Also, apologies for the small pin poster – that’s all Disneyland Paris posted on their website this month. Hint – we want to go back to the bigger ones for January 2013 please. We start off with 2 Princess pins being released on December 1st – really not my thing but I’m sure they will appeal to the hoards of Princess fans. Moving…

Disneyland Paris Pins for November 2012 – Say hello to 2013, with Duffy & Wreck It Ralph Too

It only seems like yesterday that I was writing about the October 2012 pin releases, but in that time the podcast has relaunched and I’m on way back to Disneyland Paris. That last statement only came to be this very week, and I will be back in the happiest place on Earth for the weekend of 10th-11th November to experience the Christmas festivities. Anyway, on with the pins that will be released in Disneyland Paris during November 2012. It’s quite hard to think about 2013 when there are still 65 days…

Disneyland Paris Pins for October 2012 – Say Hello to Frankenweenie!

Frankenweenie is the upcoming Tim Burton film which is an extended version of a short film he made in 1984. Now I remember seeing the 1984 version in the cinema, but I don’t remember seeing Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend which was the only film it was shown before, according to Wiki! Anyway, back to pins, and as you can see Frankenweenie plays a big part in the pin releases in Disneyland Paris for October: I pretty much always like the booster sets as they represent great value and are…

Disneyland Paris Pins for September 2012 – First bit of Dreams! merchandise plus Halloween & Duffy

This is very exciting, because not only are there are a massive 18 pins being released in September, but we have the very first piece of Dreams! merchanise. Feast your eyes on this eclectic selection upcoming of Disneyland Paris pin releases. We start with the continuation of the 20th Anniversary train carriages, this time with Huey, Dewey, and Louie as well as Daisy Duck. Now this follows on nicely from the pins released for August as Donald Duck is on the carriage just before these two. I’ll be interested to see…

Disneyland Paris Pins for August 2012 – Pins for the Girls & Vicious Pumpkins

I’m a bit slow posting my thoughts on this month’s pins, but then I have been away, so I think I can be forgiven. If I thought last month’s pins were a bit feminine then the releases for August have taken that theme and run with it. The two train pins continue that series of 12,99€ limited edition releases, and I actually like the Donald Duck one. I like the fact that he’s not just sitting on top, but he’s hanging on in true Donald high jinx fashion. As for the…
