Disneyland Paris Pins for January 2013 – Sith, Jedi, Princesses & Pumpkins
Is it really 2013 already? The answer to that is yes, and with the new year comes a whole set of new pin releases in Disneyland Paris. We start off on January 5th with a couple of rather generic looking Yoda and Darth Vader pins, which has me wondering if these were always planned or whether the recent acquisition of LucasFilm by Disney has something to do with these pins being brought out. If I can skip ahead to the following week’s releases, we also have a Star Tours pin. This…

Disneyland Paris Pins for December 2012 – The Train Is Complete & The Force is Strong
It’s rather strange seeing December pins but nothing to do with Christmas, but in true 21st century style, that was covered in the October and November pin releases. Also, apologies for the small pin poster – that’s all Disneyland Paris posted on their website this month. Hint – we want to go back to the bigger ones for January 2013 please. We start off with 2 Princess pins being released on December 1st – really not my thing but I’m sure they will appeal to the hoards of Princess fans. Moving…

Disneyland Paris Pins for October 2012 – Say Hello to Frankenweenie!
Frankenweenie is the upcoming Tim Burton film which is an extended version of a short film he made in 1984. Now I remember seeing the 1984 version in the cinema, but I don’t remember seeing Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend which was the only film it was shown before, according to Wiki! Anyway, back to pins, and as you can see Frankenweenie plays a big part in the pin releases in Disneyland Paris for October: I pretty much always like the booster sets as they represent great value and are…

Disneyland Paris Pins for June 2012 – A massive 14 pins, including Duffy
The pins are coming in thick and fast in Disneyland Paris these days and June 2012 sees 14 released, all different types of pin as you can see from the poster. In the top left you can see the pin game that was launched this month as part of the May 2012 releases and I talked about previously. It looks like there is a 3 pin set that comes out in June that goes with the game and together it forms a train with 3 carriages. That 3 pin set costs…

Disneyland Paris Pins for April 2012 – 20th Anniversary & Phineas & Ferb
Disneyland Paris are back with another set of pins for April 2012 and there are some stunners, and some others, but we’ll get to those later! I absolutely adore the 2 retro pins and really hope that these become available on DisneyStore.co.uk with the other 20th Anniversary merchandise that will be sold from April 1st. The other two 20th Anniversary pins are great too, with the Mickey Mouse giving a nod to the 1992 imagery of when the park opened. The clock one features the clock which is on the front…

Disneyland Paris Pins for March 2012 – The Pins are back, 20th Anniversary Specials
After 2 months of me complaining, justifiably, that the Disneyland Paris pin releases were too few in number, we have 14 for March 2012 – almost 5 times as many as January and February combined! I think the starter kit is absolutely fantastic and I like those pins better than the main pin releases. I really like the stamp design of the starter kit pins, and I know it’s simple and maybe obvious, but putting 20 where the price would normally be is a nice touch. I have to get one…
