Disneyland Paris Photo of the Day: 12th October 2011 – Belle’s Village & Christmas Campaign
If I told you that this photo came from anyone other than @InsideDLParis, would you even believe me? Not wanting to break with tradition, this photo from earlier today was indeed taken by @InsideDLParis, who has agreed to do an interview for this very blog, when I get round to sending the questions that is. I remember back in November 2002 we bought a small Tigger snow globe from one of the huts in Belle’s Village and I’m pretty sure that one year there was a little machine that played a…

Disneyland Paris Photos of the Day: 7th October 2011 – Halloween Parties & Pumpkins
The Halloween season is in full swing over in Disneyland Paris and thanks to @InsideDLParis we have some fantactic photos from the park. This first one shows some banners on the Castle advertising Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, of which the first one is tonight. Now I understand they are primarily there to remind people of the party and to encourage ticket sales, but even so, they actually look very nice and are at least in the style that you expect to see hanging off of a castle. The second…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Disneyland Park Land
WINNER Fantasyland (56%) This amazing photo of Fantasyland comes from azerinn. 2nd Adventureland (24%) 3rd Frontierland (12%) 4th Discoverland (8%) I’m guessing that because Main St. USA doesn’t have land at the end is why it didn’t get any votes, but maybe that’s my fault for not posing the question as favourite area, rather than land. As for the winner, I can see why people like it, but I disagree – a land that holds both Pirates of the Caribbean and Blue Lagoon is a sure thing in anyone’s book –…

Disneyland Paris Photo of the Day: 6th October 2011 – Goodbye Steve Jobs
I woke up today to the awful news that Steve Jobs has passed away. A visionary like no other and one of the most amazing people of my or any generation. To technology fans he is the man behind such revolutionary products like the iPhone and iPod, to Disney fans he’s the man behind Pixar. I thought it only fitting today to post a photo of one of the many Pixar inclusions in Disneyland Paris. This photo of the huge Buzz Lightyear which stands in front of the relatively new Toy Story Playland…

Disneyland Paris Halloween 2011 artwork from the Shareholders Club
Incredible timing as I was only talking about the Disneyland Paris Shareholder’s Club here, but I have just received the newsletter which has a nice piece of imagery for the Halloween 2011 season. Apologies that it’s not bigger but my request for PR materials from Disneyland Paris themselves has fallen on deaf (mickey) ears. One of the things that Disneyland Paris can never be criticised for is the artwork they design to promote for the seasons, which as always is absolutely top notch. Mickey Mouse is front and centre which is…

Being a member of the Disneyland Paris Shareholder’s Club
On Wednesday I came home to find an envelope on the mat, with an unfamiliar location stamped on it. I’m pretty sure I don’t know anyone located at MERIGNAC CCT1 GIRONDE? When I picked up the envelope I felt a credit card type object inside and I suddenly had that Eureka moment – my new Disneyland Paris Shareholder’s Club membership card had arrived. As an existing member of the shareholder’s club I was able to fill in a form online to renew my membership, and as I own 20 shares renewing my membership…
