Meeting Characters at the Frozen Summer Fun Dinner in Disneyland Paris
Last Saturday we had a wonderful buffet in the Silver Spur Steakhouse in Frontierland as part of the Frozen Summer Fun preview weekend in Disneyland Paris, and as well as the great food, we were also visited by a bunch of characters you may recognise. Apologies for the quality of most of these photos – the low light and the flash not going off on my camera are my excuses. You’ll know from previous articles that I’ve never been the biggest fan of meeting characters, but after wonderful experiences with Anna…

Disneyland Paris Frozen Summer Fun Review: Frozen Marketplace
The area in Frontierland that used to house Woody’s Roundup and at Christmas is home to Santa’s Village, is for the summer season rethemed as the Frozen marketplace, straight out of Arendelle. Before you get to the Marketplace there is a big sign for Frozen Fun – not Frozen Summer Fun, but just Frozen Fun. This of course sparked discussion and speculation as to whether it would not be just for Summer, and unofficially rumours have started to emerge that the Frozen Sing-along show will be back for Christmas. Katy Harris…

Disneyland Paris Star Wars Jedi Training Academy Press Preview
The Star Wars Jedi Academy is due to open in Disneyland Paris on July 11th, but this past Sunday there were previews for the press. The final attraction will be located in Videopolis, but this preview took place in the Star Tours after show area. I turned up early for the first preview and was let in, but was quickly told that this was not the preview I should be in. The very nice lady in charge made a phonecall and a few minutes later told me that in fact I…

Disneyland Paris Frozen Summer Fun Review: Frozen Sing-along Show
Like many of you, I was really disappointed when both Tarzan and Mickey’s Winter Wonderland disappeared from The Chaparral Theater, especially after the Fantasy Festival Stage changed to Meet Mickey Mouse and with The Lion King already long gone from Videopolis. Times have been hard for fans of stage shows in Disneyland Paris of late, until the news of the Frozen show broke. As time went on we learned it would be a Frozen Sing-along show, which I was never particularly thrilled about. I like Frozen, not to the extent of…

June 2016’s Disney Performing Arts Concerts in Disneyland Paris
When I first visited Disneyland Paris in 2002 we stayed in the Hotel Cheyenne, and whilst walking to our room we saw a bunch of teens with hoodies on, all bearing the name of a performance arts school. They were such a happy and lively bunch that we decided to check out when and where they were performing and saw them put on a great performance on what used to be the Fantasy Festival Stage, now Meet Mickey Mouse. They were just one of many schools and performance arts clubs performing…

Disneyland Paris News: runDisney Half Marathon Weekend – September 2016
It was over 2 years ago that I got a sniff of runDisney coming to Disneyland Paris and assumed back then that it may come to the resort in 2014. Well it was true that plans had probably started to take place, but as we’ve learned in the last few months, it’s 2016 that will see the inaugural event come to Europe. The exact date for what is called the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend, is September 23rd-25th. In the last few days both runDisney and Disneyland Paris have been promoting…
