From Harry Potter to Disneyland Paris in under 3 hours
Some articles take weeks of research and have word counts into the thousands, at the other end of the spectrum there are those that are merely elongated thoughts that have popped into my head and I feel the need to share with the world. At London King’s Cross Station you have for a few years been able to visit Platform 9 3/4, the mythical platform that allows wannabe wizards and witches to board the Hogwarts Express to, well I’m sure you can work out the destination from the name of the…

Disneyland Paris Pins for May 2016: Star Wars, Chesh, Fish and other animals!
Just a few hours ago I was looking at the pins I have bought over the last couple of years that haven’t made their way into my pin bag, and now the May releases for Disneyland Paris are out and I want more to leave in piles around the house. Star Wars Pins Let’s cut to the chase, I want all 4 of the Star Wars pins, released on May 4th, Star Wars Day of course. I particularly like the X-Wing Pilot pin, and at just 600 pieces each it’s very…

Disneyland Paris Mickey and the Magician Press Release – More Information Revealed
Earlier this morning Disneyland Paris sent out an official press release about the new Mickey and the Magician show, and at this point Twitter exploded with tweets of the press release and about it. I immediately closed Twitter down, and decided I’d read it in my own time and form my own opinions. As great as social media is for relaying news and networking, it can be a bit overwhelming and can influence your opinion before you’ve even fully made it, if you let it. So, let’s get onto that press…

I say it’s a half marathon, only because that is the distance for the event this year and I’m assuming it will be the same next year, but maybe it will go to a full marathon for the 25th Anniversary? I…

Disneyland Paris Restaurant Review: Walt’s – An American Restaurant
This was my first visit to Walt’s since 2003, and if I’m to give it its full title, then it’s Walt’s – An American Restaurant, but that’s a bit of a mouthful – pun intended. Inside it’s a work of art, and in my infinite wisdom I didn’t take any photos of the decor on show. Part of that was bad form on my part, but I also didn’t want to be taking photos while people were eating their meals in peace. Each room is themed to a particular part of…

Happy 24th Birthday Disneyland Paris – 24 Things I love
As the title may suggest, Disneyland Paris opened its doors to the public 24 years ago today, on April 12th 1992. I personally didn’t visit until 2002, but in the my 14 year love affair with Europe’s #1 tourist attraction I’ve experienced a lot of magic. In no particular order, except #1, here are 24 of the many things I love about Disneyland Paris. #24 – Pirates of the Caribbean Did you really think I could start off with anything other than the single greatest attraction in Disney Parks history? By…
