Eurostar – Celebrating 20 Years of the Direct London to Disneyland Paris Service

20 years ago in 1996, Euorstar debuted a service which would change the way people travel to Disneyland Paris, making it very easy indeed. Back then, the base station in London was Waterloo, where you could get on your train and under 4 hours later be at Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy, just a short walk to Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios (when it opened), Disney Village and a variety of on site hotels. I only visited Disneyland Paris for the first time in 2002, so I never experienced the indirect service that…

Will Mickey and the Magician See Me Break A Disneyland Paris Tradition?

For years when visiting Disneyland Paris it’s been instinctual behaviour for us to head straight to Disneyland Park and before my son was born, our first destination was always Pirates of the Caribbean. In fact, for his first two trips it was also Pirates first, but then on his last trip, he was tall enough to ride Star Tours, so years of tradition got thrown out of the window as we headed for an attempted flight to Endor as our first port of call. Something even more drastic might be happening…

Disneyland Paris Pins For July 2016: Marvel, More Marvel and Some Disney Too!

In one respect it feels like June has flown by, but it also feels like ages ago that I talked about the June pins. Long or short, the month has gone, and so we now have news of the July pins in Disneyland Paris. Though you can click on the above pin poster to enlarge it, or make it smaller depending on what device you are using to view this article, I have decided to shake things up and look at each set of releases by date, and with that a…

The Two Big Reasons Why Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris Shouldn’t Have A Star Wars Theme

I got on holiday for a few days and everything goes crazy – the UK referendum votes in favour of leaving the EU and the English football team loses in the second round of Euro 2016 to rank outsiders Iceland. They say things come in threes, and to add to the dystopian few days we have had rumours started to spread that Space Mountain: Mission 2 would become a Star Wars themed attraction for Mission 3 in 2017. This rumour seems to come out of nowhere and could just be someone…

New Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Rumours Discussed

My good friends over at ED92 have today published an article of what we maybe can expect for the Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary in 2017. Remember, these are just rumours and none of this has been confirmed by Disneyland Paris. While I have no doubt that ED92 has some great sources, we must at this point treat these as rumours, and not confirmed pieces of news. With permission, I am quoting extracts from the article, but for the full article please go over to ED92. Decorations The 25th will be draped…

The Character of Moana is Coming to Disneyland Paris for Christmas 2016 – Could We See More New Characters Too?

Disneyland Paris sent out a release this morning announcing that the titular character from the upcoming Moana (Vaiana in France) film will be coming to Disneyland Paris for part of Disney’s Enchanted Christmas season 2016. After months and years of guests complaining, rightly so, that Disneyland Paris never gets new characters, the resort will have Moana in time for the film’s release on November 30th. Here is the official statement from Disneyland Paris – for mentions of Vaiana I have replaced with Moana (Vaiana): Disneyland® Paris will surf the Moana (Vaiana)…
