Disneyland Paris News: Extra Magic Hours For Both Parks At Christmas
Discovered by Disneyland Paris statistician DLRP Roundup and confirmed by @DisneylandBerry, from December 20th 2014 until January 4th 2015, there will be Extra Magic Hours at both Disneyland Park AND Walt Disney Studios. That means during the peak Christmas period, both parks will open at 8am.
For Disneyland Park that is 8am – 9.30am and for Walt Disney Studios that is 8am – 10am. This is a great initiative and possibly prompted by the opening of Ratatouille: The Adventure, but if that was the case, then why not do this during the also very busy Halloween half term week in late October? Whatever the reason, it’s great news, and hopefully something that we will see happen on a more regular basis.
The big question now is – which Park do you go to first? Before July 10th that would have been easy for me – Disneyland Park all day long. There are those that may choose Walt Disney Studios for Crush’s Coaster or Tower of Terror, but I don’t ride the former and plunging from the top of the Hollywood Tower Hotel just after breakfast sounds like a recipe for disaster. However, now the aforementioned Ratatouille is open, I’d be headed to Disneyland Paris’ second gate for an early morning date at La Place de Rémy. Wherever you go, the fact people have a choice means each park will be far less busy than if only one were open, so hats off to whoever put this initiative into place.
