Disneyland Paris Photos: St Patrick’s Day 2014
I know what you’re thinking, St Patrick’s Day was last month, why are you talking about now? Well as it happens I have been pretty bust over the last couple of months, and in that time photographer extraordinaire Bert Snyers visited Disneyland Paris, and sent me some wonderful photos of St Patrick’s Day. So here I am with a spare lunch hour and these great photos, which it is never too late to share – so enjoy, and as an added bonus there are even some great shots of of the…

Disneyland Paris Photos: Swing into Spring
You’ve probably heard a few whispers here and there, maybe seen some concept art and some photos from the park, but Swing into Spring festival starts in 5 days, on April 5th in Disneyland Paris. Stacy from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo has just come back from Disneyland Paris and sent me these photos. The main decoration in Disneyland Park are character topiaries and thousands of flowers. A full press release has still not come from Disneyland Paris, and one would assume it’s strangely not actually coming, but we do have this from…

Disneyland Paris Photo Friday: Christmas & Beyond with Kris Van de Sande
I’ve always been interested in photography and every now and then I take a photo that I’m really proud of. I’m lucky enough to have lots of friends in the Disneyland Paris community who take it to the next level, and produce some absolutely remarkable shots of the happiest place on Earth. This past week a few of us have discovered an amazing photographer by the name of Kris Van de Sande, and to say he takes good photos would be under-selling his ability to almost criminal levels. Kris was in…

Disneyland Paris Photo Friday: I’m All Lit Up
Attention to detail – that’s one of things you’ll hear myself and other fans of Disneyland Paris use to describe why we love the resort so much. The lights and lamps around the Disneyland Paris have always fascinated me somewhat. There’s a huge variety, and almost every one is impeccably detailed and themed to the area in which it sits. If the area is old then they’ll make it look worn, if the attraction is untouched and scary, they’ll add cobwebs, and so on. It was on a trip 2 years…

Photo: Disney Dreams! of Christmas in Disneyland Paris
Over the past few nights Disneyland Paris have been doing tests for the new Disney Dreams! of Christmas night time spectacular, featuring the stars of Frozen, among others. This photo was taken last night from the Disneyland Hotel by Beci Mahnken who runs MEI-Travel. There are images of what look like wooden toy soldiers on the castle, presumably some kind of Nutcracker interpretation. You can also make out the letters Jinge on the castle gates, which could be the French spelling of Jingle? The new Disney Dreams! at Christmas show will…

Disneyland Paris Photos: Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, Dreams!, but no Light’Ears
Thanks to Rob Glew who sent me these Disneyland Paris photos from his visit in late August. This first one beautifully captures the flames from the Dreams! show, which if you’ve seen it in person you’ll know that you can feel the heat from some way away. Apart from the blazing fire, what you will notice is that there are no Light’Ears being used. It’s certainly not the sea of glowing Mickey ears that were seen at the press launch of these €20 accessories. What you can see is plenty of…
