Is runDisney Finally Coming to Disneyland Paris?
It was in March last year that I wrote about runDisney coming to Disneyland Paris, based on this exert from a runDisney survey: runDisney is considering hosting a Half Marathon event in Paris, France in the Fall of 2014 (between late September and early November). The Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon race course would wind through both Disneyland Paris theme parks and Disney® Village, with the last 8–9 miles running through the countryside surrounding the Disneyland Paris parks. Keeping your other planned trips in mind, if this event was offered, how likely…

Disneyland Paris Launches New Digital Magazine
Some of you may have seen links floating around social media in the past week or two, but now Disneyland Paris themselves have started tweeting links so I think it’s about time we talked about Disneyland Paris News – The Company’s Digital Magazine. I and many others have been wondering about the possibility of a Disneyland Paris blog for some time now, as it is rarely featured on the US-centric Disney Parks Blog. While Disneyland Paris News isn’t strictly a blog, it could be the genesis of what will eventually become…

Disneyland Paris Halloween 2014: There’s A Dragon In The Bushes
You have probably realised this already, but when we talked about the bramble set on the latest episode of the podcast, the one that will be a part of Maleficent’s Court, we failed to see one very obvious thing. You see, both Mark and I pointed out that there were a bunch of villains in the artwork, but no Maleficent, which seemed odd for something called Maleficent’s Court. Now let me post that artwork again. You see it? The reason there is no Maleficent character present is because she is already…

Welcome to Disneyland Paris Tom Wolber and Goodbye and Good Luck Philippe Gas
Today, 15th September 2014, saw Tom Wolber takeover as CEO of Disneyland Paris, and with this came a little video presentation which sees Tom discussing how his career started in Paris, and about his family. httpvh://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY69BP_q0N4 On episode 42 of the podcast we asked people to send in things they both liked about Disneyland Paris and things you’d like to see change. The idea is that we will put all of this together in a letter which we will do our best to get to Tom. You can still do that,…

The Most Beautiful Disneyland Paris Map Ever?
It’s late at night and you can’t sleep. One click needs to another and you find yourself on a website with no idea how you got there and what you were looking for in the first place. A few nights ago that is exactly what happened when I found myself on the website of Natacha Birds, and began looking at her artwork. There is lots to look at, but one thing in particular caught my eye, and that’s Natacha’s beautiful interpretation of the Disneyland Park map. The drawings of attractions like…

The 4 Seasons of Disneyland Paris – Is It The Right Thing To Do?
Should I not be talking about the recent rumours that have surfaced about the detailed plan for Disneyland Paris developments that has apparently come from within Disneyland Paris and been made public by two fans? MAybe, but I won’t, because it appears to be a mixture of information we already know combined with a fantasy wish list, some of which has been categorically shot down by CEO Philippe Gas, as pointed out by DLRP Roundup. Instead I’m going to focus on what we do know and on what is actually going…
