Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in Disneyland Paris…LEGO Style
With all the talk of the new LEGO Store coming to Disney Village in Disneyland Paris recently, both on this website and on the podcast, and how much I wished they made LEGO sets of Disneyland Paris attractions, I thought I’d do a little digging on the internet and see what I could come up with. I used this photo of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, from Christmas in Disneyland Paris last year, as the subject of choice. Mosaic Maker The first website I found was Mosaic Maker, where they claim the following:…

Disneyland Paris Pins for September 2013 – Guess what? More Princesses, plus Jack, Sally, Planes, Duffy & Dreams!
Just two days away from September, a month that always make me think Summer is coming to an end, and we have the brand new pin releases coming to Disneyland Paris. I’m going to ignore all the Princess pins, as you’ll know by now that they hold zero interest for me. However, I will say that the Mulan locket pin is probably the nicest in that series so far. While we are on pins I usually ignore, joining 3 Princess pins being released on Saturday 7th September is a Duffy pin…

Christmas 2013 in Disneyland Paris including a New Christmas Dreams! & New Parade Characters
The big news from last night, revealed by @DisneyDavy when he directed us to the Belgian Christmas section of the Disneyland Paris website, is that we have a new night time show that will take the place of Dreams! from November 10th 2013 until January 6th 2014. It’s being called Disney Dreams of Christmas which is slightly different to the Winter Dreams name which the show is called over at Disney California Adventure, which one would assume is the same show, or pretty similar. Steve Davison, vice president of Parades and…

LEGO Store at Disney Village in Disneyland Paris Opening in September
I received an email inviting me, and anyone else who is a Disneyland Paris Shareholders Club Member, to attend a preview of the new LEGO Store opening in place of Hollywood Pictures in Disney Village on Saturday September 28th. Unfortunately my membership actually expires at the end of August and I’d need to buy 80 more shares at a cost of £315 to renew my membership at a level that gets me all the benefits. That’s not going to happen, especially as I am now an annual pass holder, with the…

Petition to Save Disneyland Paris – Does it Need Saving?
As I write this, the petition to save Disneyland Paris has 2,757 signatures of the 5,000 required before it will be sent to The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger. You can read the whole letter to Iger over at Change.org, but to summarise, Disneyland Paris is stated as dropping in quality so much that it does indeed need saving, and bringing this to the attention of The Walt Disney Company’s (TWDC) CEO is seen is the best course of action. The four main areas of attention are highlighted as maintenance,…

Jake from The Neverland Pirates & Sofia The First Coming to Disneyland Paris
Hot off the presses from the font of all knowledge, @InsideDLParis, I can confirm that Jake, from the Neverland Pirates, and Sofia The First will be a part of the attraction where they found their fame. Playhouse Disney Live on Stage! is closed from the 1st through to the 28th September, and on September 29th it will open once again, but renamed Disney Junior – Live On Stage! That’s actually a guess, but an educated one, given that I know the show is getting a new name to bring it on…
