Disneyland Paris Pins for October 2011 – Christmas Already!
It doesn’t seem like a whole month ago since we were talking about the September pins, but here we are with another set for October. Wow, Christmas pins already? I guess if there have been Christmas chocolates in the shops for a month then we can have Christmas pins in Disneyland Paris too. I really like the Pinocchio set, though I’m not sure why Chip and Dale are there too, surely Geppetto or the Blue Fairy would have been a better choice for the 4th pin and then let Chip and Dale…

More Disney Pumpkins and I’m liking the new Disneyland Paris Halloween more
After being so undecided about the new Halloween in Disneyland Paris in my previous post I’m liking the changes more, and why the sudden change of heart? All because of the latest photo posted by the awesome @InsideDLParis which you can see below. I’d said previously that if it was just Mickey pumpkin heads that I didn’t think that would be enough. Well, as you can see in this photo he has some pumpkin friends. Sitting outside The Disney Store in Disney Village are what looks to be pumpkin Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Chip & Dale…

Halloween in Disneyland Paris – Pumpkin Mickey replaces Pumpkinmen & Halloweenland
We’ve been speculating for weeks as to what will be happening in Disneyland Paris since the news that the Pumpkinmen were no more, nor would Frontierland be turning into Halloweenland like it usually does. My first reaction when I heard about these changes was one of disappointment, and I’m not even going during the Halloween season this year. However, I have been in years gone by and I absolutely loved the old Halloween theming, so I was disappointed that people visiting this year wouldn’t get to experience it, as well as myself not having…

The Coca-Cola Partnership in Disneyland Paris…it works!
As one of of the official partners of Disneyland Paris, you may have noticed that Coca-Cola is an ever present brand in and around Disneyland Paris. It’s the soft drink of choice in all restaurants and snack outlets and has an even bigger presence in places like Casey’s Corner, as can be seen in this picture of the Coca-Cola light shade taken by Dan over at Character Central: A while back I read over at the Magic Forum that Disneyland Paris don’t pay a penny, or a Euro in their case,…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Show
WINNER Cinemagique (25%) Disney Showtime Spectacular (15%) Animagique (15%) Stitch Live (15%) Moteurs… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular (10%) Mickey’s Winter Wonderland (10%) Playhouse Disney Live on Stage (5%) Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Too (5%) It’s worth noting here that there were half as many votes in this category than the previous categories and these votes were taken before the return of The Tarzan Encounter. It goes to show that people really do miss having a full-time proper stage show in the vein of Tarzan and The Legend of the Lion…

If Disneyland Paris took over the world!
You don’t need me to tell you how wonderfully striking the buildings and attractions at Disneyland Paris are, but looking through some photos earlier I started to think how much fun it would be if landmarks from the real world were replaced by those from Disneyland Paris. A bit of thinking and a little time in Photoshop, and here is what I have come up with. Replacing Windsor Castle with Sleeping Beauty’s Castle seemed the most obvious, and it works rather well. I think it adds a lot to the regal skyline, and with all…
