Where in Disneyland Paris would you live?

This idea for a blog post came from a chat I was having with Manda from Manda’s Disney Blog on Twitter yesterday evening. She was trying to guess my accent from my appearance as guest host on episode 3 of the DLP Newscast and I ended up saying I am from Disneyland Paris! It went on from there and I said that my ideal place to live in Disneyland Paris would be The Blue Lagoon. It’s not just because it’s close to my favourite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, but that…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Overall Restaurant

WINNER Walt’s (29%) 2nd Annette’s (24%) 3rd Café Mickey (17%) 4th Blue Lagoon (8%) 5th= Agrabah Cafe (4%) 5th= Auberge de Cendrillon (4%) 5th= Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon (4%) 5th= California Grill (4%) 5th= Inventions (4%) 5th= Silver Spur Steakhouse (4%) Two great restaurants were neck and neck until the end when Walt’s clung on to win. Of course my vote goes to Blue Lagoon and I am a little surprised at how it’s popularity seems to have decreased over the years, at least for these awards anyway.

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Disney Village Restaurant

WINNER Annette’s Diner (40%) 2nd Café Mickey (36%) 3rd The Steakhouse (12%) 4th Rainforest Café (8%) 5th Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon (4%) I agree with this one. We ate at Annette’s Diner twice on our last visit and the food was very testy, plentiful and served with a smile. It has a great 1950’s theme and some of the staff are even on rollerskates – I’ve never seen anyone drop anything either, yet! Below is a photo of the fantastic chicken salad that I had 2 evenings in a row…

2010 DIS Forum Disneyland Paris Awards Results: Best Walt Disney Studios Restaurant

WINNER Café des Cascadeurs (57%) 2nd Blockbuster Café (36%) 3rd Backlot Express (7%) I have to admit that we rarely eat in Walt Disney Studios, usually choosing to eat in Parc Disneyland (like my clever use of the French version instead of just Disneyland Park? Clever me) or Disney Village. The runaway win for Café des Cascadeurs makes me want to try it out though. I did some research and found the menu over at Disney Central Plaza – photo credit goes to Serleena. Unless I am missing something it looks…

The ambience is better than any other restaurant I’ve ever been in, Disney and others. The food has always…

It’s not cheap at €59…
