Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Trip Thoughts: Hotel Santa Fe

Our hotel of choice is usually the Cheyenne, as the theming is second to none, and as we are very much a sleep and shower family, we have no need to pay out for the luxury of the more expensive hotels. We also don’t consider 15 minutes a long walk to and from the parks, and in fact like that as it takes you past the lake and along the river. This time we decided to go for the Santa Fe, for two reasons; 1) my son adored Cars and 2)…

Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Trip Thoughts: The Celebration Train

In the months leading up to our recent trip to Disneyland Paris I was very damning of this train, thinking the colours were very over the top and thinking it looked like it had been at the centre of a sherbet factory explosion. However, just minutes into being our time in Disneyland Park on our first day and the Celebration Train came down Main Street USA, right past us. The reaction from my son was enough to change my mind and made me realise this train’s very important part of the…

Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Trip Thoughts: Dreams

There’s no doubt that one of the most anticipated experiences on our recent trip to Disneyland Paris was the jewel in the 20th Anniversary crown; Dreams. Before we arrived I did worry that being shown after the park closed at 10.30pm maybe too late for our little boy to cope with, at just 4 years old. Sven’s Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Trip Report Day 1

Our Disneyland Paris reporter Sven Popelier was in Disneyland Paris for the 20th Anniversary at the beginning of the month and here is Sven’s report from day 1 of his trip. Sunday 1st April 2012 6.30am, time to leave my hometown for my fifteenth trip to Disneyland Paris! I started driving with three friends of mine to be one of the first to discover the 20th anniversary celebration. There was one thing all four of us looked forward the most: “Disney Dreams.” After a two-hour drive with Disney music, we arrived…

Disney Store Website now has the Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Signature Range

As per the title of this post, the Disney Store Website now has the fantastic Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Signature Range which you can find here. While there’s no denying that at £23 (plus £4.96 delivery) is a bit on the expensive side for a t-shirt, I’ve seen worse. What really surprises me is the price of the Disneyland Paris Signature Bomber Jacket which at £48 is half of what I was expecting, and has me really very tempted now. When I first saw the Signature Range photos this jacket caught…

Disneyland Paris Pins for May 2012 – The best pin releases ever?

You may think that title is taking it to extremes but the originality and variety of the pin releases in Disneyland Paris for May are exceptional. It’s almost like they’ve been waiting for me to visit Disneyland Paris and have rolled out their best work for my visit. Let’s start with the 4 robot pins, which I absolutely love. The Pin MK Robot in particular is absolutely gorgeous with the nicest design of inner workings of the 4 in this set. This has gone straight to the top of my ‘to…
