Official Disneyland Paris Shop Window Photos

Due to apparent demand, Disneyland Paris circulated almost 250 photos to selected websites including Dedicated to DLP. These photos are are of various shop windows from around the resort and showcase some very imaginative window displays, and some Duffy ones too 😉 I haven’t published them all but have taken a selection which I liked and hope you do too. Take a look at this Photo of Harrington’s – do you see the giant black vinylmation with a question mark on it? I wonder if this means we have some special…

Disneyland Paris Pins for August 2012 – Pins for the Girls & Vicious Pumpkins

I’m a bit slow posting my thoughts on this month’s pins, but then I have been away, so I think I can be forgiven. If I thought last month’s pins were a bit feminine then the releases for August have taken that theme and run with it. The two train pins continue that series of 12,99€ limited edition releases, and I actually like the Donald Duck one. I like the fact that he’s not just sitting on top, but he’s hanging on in true Donald high jinx fashion. As for the…

Photos of the World of Disney Store in Disneyland Paris

Opening on July 12th, the World of Disney Store in Disney Village, Disneyland Paris, is the newest and biggest store in the resort. Not being just a store though, this building is a work of art both inside and out. The previous week to the official public opening, World of Disney opened its doors early for Shareholder’s Club members and annual pass holders. One of our followers on Twitter was there, and Daniel (@DisneyDan684) sent us these great photos so we can all see how great it looks – thanks Dan!…

Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Trip Thoughts: VIP Fastpass

Just two and a half weeks before we were due to leave for Disneyland Paris, I got an email from the Shareholders Club, offering me a free VIP Fastpass ticket to celebrate the 20th Anniversary. All I had to do was log in to my member area on the official website and then pick a day to have my VIP Fastpass. A VIP Fastpass entitles a group of 4 people a whole day’s worth of Fastpass access, on all rides that use the Fastpass system. I initially wanted to choose the…

Disneyland Paris World of Disney Store Concept Art

You’ve probably seen these pictures floating around the internet over the past few weeks – they come from a presentation that Disneyland Paris gave to some select Disneyland Paris fans last month. They were kind enough to send the presentation to a few websites, including this one. We are not permitted to publish the presentation in its entirety, which is understandable, so I have selected a few slides to publish and talk about. The detail that they go into at this planning stage is so intricate and to mere fans like…

When real life reminds you of Disneyland Paris

A few days ago I decided to have a stroll around the industrial state near where I work and take some photographs of the factories. It wasn’t until I got back and started looking through the photos that I realised that one of them looked a bit like Space Mountain, even with a hole in the clouds where a rocket could be fired through. See what you think… Here’s a photo of the actual Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris, taken when I visited in July 2005: This is what Factory Mountain…
