Disneyland Paris Photo Friday: Read The Sign

There are many amazing sights in Disneyland Paris, from wonderful scenery to the stunning Castle, from incredible attractions to colourful characters. Then there are the signs, of which there are many different kinds, but all of them wonderful in their own way. Some are complex works of art and others relatively simple, but all fit their surroundings perfectly. I have long wanted to spend a day taking photos of each and every sign in Disneyland Paris, but for now, here a few of my favourites. Some were taken a number of…

The Characters from the Disneyland Hotels Now Part of Extra Magic Hours in Disneyland Park

So just a few days ago the news broke that from November of this year there would be no more character meet and greets in hotels in Disneyland Paris. Much speculation and discussion ensued, and I even theorised that maybe this would mean the characters could be used in a new show. We now know, and thanks to DLRPToday and Salon Mickey for picking up on this, that the characters will be relocated to Disneyland Park during Extra Magic Hours. That means people who stay in on site hotels or those…

Disneyland Paris Rewind: High School Musical On Tour in Walt Disney Studios

Back in 2007 High School Musical was riding high as one of the biggest film successes the Disney Channel had ever seen, possibly the biggest. New Disneyland Paris Concept Artwork for Ratatouille and LEGO Store

This past Wednesday was the AGM for Disneyland Paris where we had heard rumours that we might get the opening date announcement for Ratatouille: The Ride. Though that never came to fruition we did get a wonderful piece of concept artwork which helps us to visualise how La Place de Rémy will look. On the last episode of the podcast Mark and I talked about a weenie, and how Walt Disney Studios was lacking them. That big Gusteau’s sign is clearly the weenie for the new Ratatouille mini-land, and should be…

No More Characters in Disneyland Paris Hotels

Below is the tweet that appears to have started much activity on Twitter this afternoon and evening: When it comes to Disneyland Paris, @DisneyMoi has very close ties and whilst not an official representative of the resort, what he says is a close to official as we are likely to get. So there you have it, at some point later in the year, there will be no more character meet and greets in Disneyland Paris hotels. This has caused much discussion among the Disneyland Paris community, mostly negative. Meeting characters is…
