    Disneyland Paris Halloween 2018 Review

Halloween was never the main reason I was going to be in Disneyland Paris two weekends ago (I know it’s taken me a while to do this review, but I am so glad I was there to experience it. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Disneyland Paris during the Halloween season for the past three years, but last year was quite different to the ones that preceded and followed it, as you can read about here. Going into Halloween 2018 in Disneyland Paris, we knew there would be some changes and…

    Disneyland Paris Review: Christmas 2017

A few weeks ago I wrote an article covering the things I was looking forward to on our upcoming Christmas trip to Disneyland Paris. We have been back a week, and though I miss it every day, I think it’s time to get my thoughts down on, well not paper, this website!   Disneyland Paris Christmas 2017 – Decorations BLUE! That was my first impression of the decorations as I walked under Main Street Station towards Town Square. I knew I was going to see a blue tree or two, but…

Disneyland Paris runDisney 2017 Diary Day 1 – The runDisney 5K

RunDisney had returned to Disneyland Paris for it’s second year. Just like last year the weekend included a Health and Wellness Expo at the Disney Events Arena, 5K and half marathon races with the new addition of a 10K race and a challenge to complete both longer races. Upon arriving at Disneyland Paris I proceeded straight to collect my race bibs and t-shirts. With a similar layout to last year and not many additions, the expo still looks like a work in progress but the bib collection was smooth and efficient.…

Disneyland Paris Review: Halloween Season 2017

I was lucky enough to be in Disneyland Paris this past weekend, and though the trip had been booked for a few weeks it wasn’t until a couple days before that it dawned on me that the Sunday being October 1st, I’d be there for the launch of the Halloween in Disneyland Paris. The 2017 Halloween season has been a hot topic for discussion in recent months, especially since it was revealed that there would be no Halloween Cavalcade, no Villains show on the Castle Stage and no Halloween decorations down…

Disneyland Paris runDisney Diary Day 4 – The Half Marathon

Today was the day. The day when 12,000 runners wished for some faith, trust, pixie dust and a good pair of trainers to help them cover 21.1K round Disneyland Paris. With the same set up as the 5K the runners assembled in their starting corrals. You know it’s going to be a fun race when you are surrounded by fairies, Princes and Mickey ears as far as the eye can see. After a slight delay we were off, across the start line and round the side of Walt Disney Studios. Entering…

Disneyland Paris runDisney Diary Day 3 – The 5K Race and Lots of Characters

The morning of the Disneyland Paris 5K had arrived and after an extremely early start all the runners gathered on Avenue Paul Seramy lining up in their assigned corral start groups. With a stage next to the start line and big screens to view the action, we were entertained while waiting with music, a warm up and words of encouragement for the likes of Paula Radcliffe. We were promised some exciting experiences on route to the finish so the anticipation grew. The race started promptly at 7am and all runners were…
