Disneyland Paris Rumour: A new on site hotel coming – what should the theme be?
This latest tidbit has been broken by the folks at ED92 who today revealed plans for a new hotel, which is supposedly planned to be located opposite Hotel Santa Fe, the Cars themed hotel. The plans that are now public can be seen below: Whether it will happen and when it will happen we will just have to wait and see, but my interest lies in what theme it will have. The project is nicknamed New Wave, which makes me think of A-Ha, Simple Minds, Blondie and many other music acts…

Final Boarding Call For Endor Express – Saying Goodbye to Star Tours in Disneyland Paris
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…actually it was just 2 days ago and 342 miles away, which might be considered far far away for some. Over in Disneyland Paris on Wednesday 16th March 2016 was the very last day that Star Tours would be open in Disneyland Paris, and to commemorate this they put on an event in the evening for invited guests and a limited number of shareholders and Dream Annual Passport holders. I’d already booked a trip to be there that day, in hope that…

Soon we will say goodbye to the original Star Tours in Disneyland Paris
Star Tours was an opening day attraction for Disneyland Paris, welcoming people on the 12th April for the very first time, to its slice of intergalactic excitement in Discoveryland. On Wednesday March 16th 2016 Star Tours will take it’s very last trip to Endor, before closing its doors shortly after 10.45pm. While they’ve not been explicitly named Star Tours – The Adventures Continue as taking its place, we can be pretty sure ever since the Reinvent The Magic announcements and they said just that a “re-imagined” “new thrilling experience” is coming,…

Disneyland Paris Magical Memorabilia: Cards, Watches, Lip Balm & Cocktail Stirrers
It’s been a while since I did one of these, but seeing the big box of Disneyland Paris stuff sitting in the lounge after a recent rummage, I thought it would be a good time to delve in and grab some bits, and so here we are. I’ll start with playing cards, of which two sets are featured. The first I bought many years ago, and left me slightly disappointed, but had I looked at the box properly I’d have seen this before I bought them. So what am I talking…

Big Thunder Mountain revealed – the drained Rivers of the Far West in Disneyland Paris
It’s not often we get a look behind the magic in Disneyland Paris, as fences usually block our view of any work being done, or they simply close the doors of housed attractions. The refurbishment of Big Thunder Mountain, and the necessary draining of the Rivers of the Far West has allowed us a rare look behind the scenes, or under them as the case may be. A big thank you to Richard Boakes who sent me these photos from his trip last week. This first photos focuses on Big Thunder…

If the rumours are true, please Disneyland Paris, let me buy my stone
In the last 24 hours information has come from those fine folk over at ED92 via their Facebook page, that the personalised paving stones in Fantasia Gardens in front of the Disneyland Hotel, are to be removed and not replaced. It has been said that at the time of purchase these were rental agreements, and in fact at the time I purchased ours, they did say it would last 10 years. The subject of what would happen to it after those 10 years never actually came up, from what I can…
