Soon we will say goodbye to the original Star Tours in Disneyland Paris

Star Tours was an opening day attraction for Disneyland Paris, welcoming people on the 12th April for the very first time, to its slice of intergalactic excitement in Discoveryland. On Wednesday March 16th 2016 Star Tours will take it’s very last trip to Endor, before closing its doors shortly after 10.45pm. While they’ve not been explicitly named Star Tours – The Adventures Continue as taking its place, we can be pretty sure ever since the Reinvent The Magic announcements and they said just that a “re-imagined” “new thrilling experience” is coming,…

Disneyland Paris Magical Memorabilia: Cards, Watches, Lip Balm & Cocktail Stirrers

It’s been a while since I did one of these, but seeing the big box of Disneyland Paris stuff sitting in the lounge after a recent rummage, I thought it would be a good time to delve in and grab some bits, and so here we are. I’ll start with playing cards, of which two sets are featured. The first I bought many years ago, and left me slightly disappointed, but had I looked at the box properly I’d have seen this before I bought them. So what am I talking…

Big Thunder Mountain revealed – the drained Rivers of the Far West in Disneyland Paris

It’s not often we get a look behind the magic in Disneyland Paris, as fences usually block our view of any work being done, or they simply close the doors of housed attractions. A big thank you to Richard Boakes who sent me these photos from his trip last week. This first photos focuses on Big Thunder…

Disneyland Paris Pins for March 2016: It’s all about Star Wars Endor, with Spring and Olaf!

I’m not sure I’ve ever wanted a pin as much as one of the ones you can see on this poster for the March 2016 Disneyland Paris pin releases. I’ll let you guess which one. I want the Last Trip to Endor pin, I want the Last Trip to Endor pin, I want the Last Trip to Endor pin, I want the Last Trip to Endor pin, I want… Okay, I think you get the point. I love Star Wars, I love Star Tours and I love that pin, especially as…

Disneyland Paris Rumour: Puppet show coming to the Lucky Nugget Saloon

I must admit, I completely missed the initial rumour tweet from @DisneylandBerry back in December, where he posted In 2016, the Lucky Nugget Saloon could host a brand new permanent show, so this tweet from earlier today came as a complete surprise to me. It’s great news though, as any kind of entertainment is a welcome addition, and in a restaurant is always a bonus. I’ve never even entered, let alone eaten in the Lucky Nugget Saloon, so I can’t vouch for it in any way shape or form. Looking at…
