    Just last week a brand new annual pass event was announced, in fact it went one step further and is actually only for Infinity annual pass holders. The event is being held on March 30th and is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hollywood Tower of Terror. Super Diner appreciation post! Did you know that Super Diner appreciation post! Did you know that this is the oldest restaurant in any Disney Park? Walt Disney Imagineering Paris’ Keith Rector, Field Art Director, and Sébastien Dhainaut, Set Design & Show Quality explain how that the eatery in Avengers Campus was originally built in 1935 and operated as an authentic diner in New Jersey until 1955. It was then shipped to Europe for a German collector, and finally purchased by the development team of Walt Disney Studios where it became the Café des Cascadeurs. Having such an iconic piece of history was important for its integration into Avengers Campus, as Sebastien explains: “We wanted to keep the essence of the place in the interior, while bringing it into the 21st century because the story of Avengers Campus is happening right now, today. All the furniture was redone, and we redesigned the space. We kept the open kitchen side while improving the comfort of the Cast Members and guests. In the end, the retro vibe is still here while changing the materials chosen and the colors which are warmer than before.” Graphic Designer Thomas Krause of WDI Paris was then brought in to bring the authentic details in of a mid-century modern diner, such as menus, matchboxes and ad prints. In its new story, the Super Diner was the place where in the 1940s factory workers from Howard Stark’s Accutech flying cars company, conveniently located next door, would go for a much-needed lunch break. When Tony Stark decided to refurbish the whole place into its new campus, he decided to keep the diner so that recruits could recharge their energy with Rueben sandwiches and milkshakes. #disneylandparis #avengerscampusparis #superdiner #waltsisneystudiospark #waltdisneyimagineering #dlpinsidears

Remember that iconic tarp which covered the castle Remember that iconic tarp which covered the castle while it was being renovated? What if we told you it was possible to own a piece of it? From today for AP holders and tomorrow for the general public, 2,300 upcycled items made from the tarp are available for sale at DLP’s Storybook Store on Main Street U.S.A. From clutches to holdalls, these collection pieces have been handmade and entirely manufactured by Ile de France-based company Bilum, each with a unique and exclusive design. Prices range from €30 to €140, but if course only if you’re visiting the park, and we bet it will need to be sooner than later. Still, we love this initiative, as it uses recycling in a great way, and you get to own a piece of the 30th Anniversary transformation!
