247: DLP, PSL & LOL
Throw on your cutest oversized sweater and grab a PSL (yes, even if it’s still boiling outside 🍂)—Episode 247 of the Dedicated to DLP podcast is fresh out of the oven!
This week, Beth and Marq are jumping into the figurative pile of autumn leaves that is Disneyland Paris news! Things kick off with a little chatter about seasonal cozy vibes, before getting straight into a whole heap of exciting items bubbling at DLP.
First up, we tackle the mystery behind that dramatic plume of dark smoke everyone saw rising right behind Sleeping Beauty Castle recently. Was Maleficent up to no good, or was something else brewing just beyond the park gates? We set the record straight!
Plus, Halloween has officially taken over, and the resort has swapped out its old look for a much darker, moody Disney Villains takeover full of glowing candles, stained glass, and spooky details. Over in Frontierland, we spot some long-awaited signs of life returning to Fort Comstock, and we take a peek at the massive makeover ongoing at Disney Village—including new flagship shops and major restaurant revamps on the horizon.
Then, it’s time for our favorite segment: reading your letters!
– The Ultimate Disney Dad: Listener Jonas sent in an absolute masterpiece of a four-day trip report. He shares brilliant real-world survival strategies for navigating packed parks with neurodivergent kiddos, navigating high-energy queue lines, finding the best quiet resort bars, and scoring the ultimate hotel shop delivery hacks.
– Allergy-Free Park Days: We also help out friend of the show Paula, breaking down how to handle tricky dairy and nut allergies like an absolute pro at Sequoia Lodge and right across the resort.
