Could New Disneyland Paris Artwork Reveal 25th Anniversary Tickets?

It was a few days ago that some artwork was published online by Disneyland Paris, on their new tummblr page. Yes, you absolutely read that correctly, Disneyland Paris have set up an official Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary tumblr account, which you can see here. It looks to have launched 5 days ago on January 11th, and so far it’s all about Disneyland Paris, with no reposting of cat memes, yet. Back on track, and it was the following artwork that set the community chattering.

There’s no denying it’s great looking artwork, with Disney characters formed by star constellations and the 25th logo above them, well, the cut down version anyway. After marveling at the classy look I had a sudden feeling of deju vu, and thought back to almost 5 years ago when on February 1st 2012 the Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary tickets were revealed by DLRP Express. Take a look for yourself and see if you notice any similarities.

So a little play in PhotoShop, and please take these for the crude mock ups they are, and I can see these being used as the ticket designs, maybe…

The one problem I can foresee is that the designs look too similar. With the 20th Anniversary tickets the different characters brought with them a variety of different colours – though with some characters wearing outfits from the same range, there are still a lot of similarities between tickets.

Here I have changed the colouring and added 2 Parcs, as was done for the 20th Anniversary tickets.

Now obviously Disneyland Paris would get their top designers on this, and make them look 10 times better than mine, but I do think this artwork does lend itself well to ticket designs, and it wouldn’t take much to add some extra bits to make them more distinguishable from each other. For the 20th Anniversary these designs were used all over the resort and in the marketing materials, so if these are what I think they could be, then we will be seeing a lot more of them as the Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary gets closer every day.
